(Photo : Oppo) Oppo N3 has been officially unveiled, sporting a 5.5-inch full HD display, fingerprint sensor and rotating camera.
Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is fond of their wacky designs; the Oppo N1 had a full 180 degree camera, and it looks like the Oppo N3 will follow with the same 180 degree camera capable of taking selfies and rear facing shots with the same sensor.
The company has added a 5.5-inch full HD 1920 x 1080 display on the Oppo N3, alongside Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 CPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with microSD card for further expansion and a 3000mAh battery.

The display is a step-down from the 2K display on the Oppo Find 7, but 1080p is still not bad. The same can be said about the Snapdragon 801 CPU - it is not exactly top of the line with the Snapdragon 805 available now, but still works fine.
The main feature on the Oppo N3 is the 16MP 180-degree rotating camera. The camera not only shoots impressive images on the rear, but it mimics this quality on the front. Oppo has tested the camera rotating thousands of times to ensure efficiency.
Oppo has also added a fingerprint sensor on the N3. Instead of putting it on the front, like Apple and Samsung does, Oppo has ventured onto the back of the device. There is a small dimple on the back, similar to the Motorola logo dimple on the Moto X, where the user places their finger.
Fingerprint sensors are the new flavor-of-the-year piece every phone has to have, but only Apple has made a fingerprint sensor worth using. It is implementing a new system, the Touch ID, to use the fingerprint on all sorts of applications.
The Oppo N3 will run Android KitKat 4.4 out of the box - with Color OS 2.0, Oppo's own skin. It is not the best skin we have seen, but Oppo has made big improvements on the UI in the past year, making it at least usable.
Oppo is targeted 20 markets by the end of November, with a $649 retail price tag. Sales will start in China.
