Ty Lawson Claims He's The Missing Piece For Rockets Title Conquest

Newly acquired Houston Rockets starting point guard Ty Lawson said he's the missing piece for his team to reach the NBA Finals. Lawson said that before he was traded by the Denver Nuggets, he got a chat with Rockets star James Harden and told the latter to get him "over there" as he'll be "that piece to get over the hump."

The 6-8 Whittington impressed the team in Summer League with averages of 9.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.4 steals, 1.3 blocks and 24.5 minutes per game.
