The New Orleans Pelicans signed veteran Kendrick Perkins to serve as mentor to star forward Anthony Davis and as reserve center behind 7-foot starter Omer Asik, according to ESPN. The 6'10" center signed a one-year deal for the veterans minimum on Tuesday.
