Nike Allows James Harden to Drift to Adidas

MVP runner-up James Harden of the Houston Rockets will be signing a 13-year, $200 million deal with Adidas after Nike decided not to match the offer, according to the Sun Times. Adidas spokesman Michael Ehrlich said that they pursued Harden because they are sure that he can take their brand to new heights. The 25-year-old Harden had just won won the NBA scoring title, voted MVP by his peers and on top of his runner-up finish in the recent NBA MVP race.
