It's been a rough year for the 'Blurred Lines' singer Robin Thicke. The singer, who was recently under fire when his 'Blurred Lines' song was officially declared by court as a copy of Marvin Gaye's song, is now officially divorced as his ex-wife's petition was granted by court effective by April 14, according to TriCities.

Multi-Grammy singers Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams, who wrote and created the hit 2013 song 'Blurred Lines' may be facing a tarnished career after the jury awarded Marvin Gaye's children an ample amount of nearly $7.4 million after determining that Thicke and Williams copied their father's music. The decision was declared by the jury last March 10, according to CBC Ca News.

Patton cited irreconcilable differences as she filed although she told tabloids the divorce was amicable. She also asked for joint custody of the couple's 4-year-old son, and only child, Julian Fuego Thicke.
