Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is planning to release an over-the-air update for its flagship user interface. Dubbed the MIUI 7.1, the new interface is the successor to the MIUI 7.0 and will hit a handful of Xiaomi devices sometime on Tuesday, Jan. 5.
