For several months, several residents have complained about construction eyesores as well as flooding aggravated by material left behind by contractors working for Google Fiber.

Sunday, Feb. 21 was a bad day for users of Linux Mint as the popular Linux desktop distribution platform announced that its Mint website was hacked. Officials from the company claim that the hackers were able to infect some downloadable ISOs from the website with malicious malwares that could lead to further hack attacks when installed.

Taiwanese electronics company HTC has released three new devices that will be successors to its Desire brand of smartphones. The three new handsets from HTC are Desire 530, Desire 630 and Desire 825. All the three smartphones were unveiled at the 2016 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

Hackers Take Home $17,000 in Ransom After Holding Hospital Computer Network Hostage

A Los Angeles hospital has been forced to pay nearly $17,000 worth of bitcoin as ransom to hackers who were able to penetrate and remotely disable the hospital's computer network. The cyber attack started on Feb. 5 and the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center decided that it was in its best interest to pay the ransom in order to make sure that its computer network remains functional.
